Mid-autumn festival
Last friday was chinese traditional festival-- mid-autunm festival. At that day, we cleaned our house, used pesticide to kill some silverfishes that hiding in the cabinet, changed our health card and went to China town to buy some vegetable. At night, we went to a restaurant named "red rock" and had dinner with many people to celebrate the mid-autumn festival. By the way, the taiwanese moon cake isn't same as chinese one but the taste is very good.

What's the difference between Taiwanese moon cake and Chinese moon cake? When I tried moon cake in Vietnam I didn't like it. It's like Christmas cake in Australia. Lots of people like it but I don't.
Taiwanese moon cake is white and more like a kind of short refection in China. Chinese moon cake is always brown and more sweeter than Taiwanese one.
Where did the idea of Mid-autumn festival come from? Do you have a holiday in China?
